Discount condition: both properties must be booked together, assessed during the same trip and normally be within two miles of each other. Three or more properties are quoted individually, with greater savings available when they can be scheduled efficiently in the same area. Properties spread across different areas are priced according to travel and access.

Can you arrange access through my agent or tenant?
Include their contact details and the access arrangements in your enquiry, with their permission. We can then coordinate a suitable appointment.
When will my EPC be available?
Tell us if you have a deadline. We will confirm appointment availability and the expected certificate turnaround when arranging your booking.
What is included with the EPC?
The assessment, the lodged Energy Performance Certificate and the standard improvement recommendations generated as part of the EPC process.
Are the improvement costs shown on an EPC exact?
No. EPC cost figures are broad estimates rather than contractor quotations for the individual property. Obtain property-specific quotations before deciding whether to carry out work.
Does submitting the enquiry form confirm a booking?
No. Your enquiry is sent directly to Energy IQ. We will respond to confirm the service, price and appointment arrangements.
Before your EPC — how to prepare
- Confirm who will provide access, including any key collection arrangements.
- Keep access clear to rooms, outside areas, the loft hatch, heating system and hot-water controls.
- Tell us about inaccessible areas, access needs, known hazards or faulty doors, windows and hatches before the visit.
- Gather any available paperwork showing when windows, boilers, extensions or other improvements were installed.
- Have certificates and guarantees ready for cavity-wall insulation and any other insulation that cannot be seen during the assessment.
- For solar panels, provide the installation or MCS certificate and any available system details.
Acceptable documentary evidence can support features that cannot be confirmed visually and helps ensure the EPC reflects the property accurately. Only safely accessible areas will be inspected. Share alarm or key-safe codes directly with us using an agreed secure method.
